DescriptionLarge-scale, woven textile in the manner of the USA flag with red and white stripes and a blue field decorated with three images of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The work is a weaving with embroidery by Mexican artist Adolfo Patiño, and features three lovely traditional Virgin of Guadalupe images each wearing a different color cloak or manta. The different colors: green, white and red represent the bandera or flag of Mexico. The three virgenes are placed against a blue background as the "stars" in the upper left hand corner of the American flag. TMN.
